Pastel brights..

How summery and gorgeous are these homewares. They would brighten up any day! Some are home knitted and some homemade paint dipped and sprayed. I recommend Little Greene Paints as they are my favourite.

Farrow and Ball Colour Trends

I saw these trends ages ago and meant to put them on the blog as i just think the colour combinations are sublime. Definitely influencing me this 2012.

Here are a couple of press shots from the film. There was a comment that the actress looks too cheerful for Wallis and i think thats a fair comment but i'm going to watch it just for the clothes.

Wallis Simpson

I do think Wallis Simpson epitomises all i think is chic in a woman. She is understated but unbelievably stylist for her time. I love the couples use of colour in their dress and the fact that they both oozed style when for royals this wasn't allowed. The press go on about Princess Diana and Kate but there is no competition in my eyes. Wallis wins hands down. There is a film about her romance directed by Madonna. I'm not recommending the story will be any good but oh my god the styling looks amazing.
